Finally!

Finally got to see my beautiful horse today!  The wind was blowing like crazy and everyone was a little fired up but I got a good brushing in and fed her her grain and vitamins.  She's out with the herd now on the 40 acres and she's still looking good and maintaining her weight.  She was a little spooky about all the commotion and my flag that I was using to defend our space as she ate her grain....evidence it's been WAY too long since I've played with her.  :(  Hopefully that will change soon!

Happy Birthday Aspen!

It's Aspen's sixth birthday today!  I had intended to spend the afternoon with her, even bought a big bag of carrots and apples for her, but my truck batteries are dead so I have no way to get down there...and it's crazy windy! :(  I'll just have to celebrate another day with her.  It's been 10 or so days since I've seen her last, courtesy of being sick and my work load so I'm dying to get out and have some horse time!
